Cấu hình tính năng ngăn chặn malware dựa vào signatures như anti-virus
Đầu tiên ta vào SmartConsole, tại Gateways & Servers ở phần General Properties, ta nhìn xuống phía dưới chọn Threat Prevention chọn Anti-Virus, Anti-Bot,..

Tiếp đến ta sẽ cập nhật lại database mới nhất từ ThreatCloud, ở tab Security Policies → chọn Custom Policy → nhìn xuống phía dưới có Custom policy Tools → chọn Update, sau khi update xong các trạng thái sẽ hiện xanh


Tiếp đến ta sẽ tạo một Profile, Security Gateways → Custom policy Tools → add new

Sau đó double click vào file vừa tạo, cấu hình các phần Active Protections và Activation Mode giống ảnh phía dưới

Tiếp theo ta sẽ một Threat Prevention Policy, Security Policies → Threat Prevention → Custom Policy, Protected Scope (Any), Action chọn profile đã tạo bên trên. sau đó sẽ Publish và Install Policy để lưu và áp dụng

Cuối cùng trên máy Client ta sẽ test bằng cách truy cập trang http://malware.wicar.org/ để test malware ngay lập tức sẽ bị ngăn chặn
